All precarious placement was proudly self-achieved without the assistance of siblings or parents.
I found him like this in the morning still sleeping. I wondered how long he'd been that way?
My personal favorite.
I keep finding empty water glasses and a wet son...
How do boys make it to adulthood? This one boy is getting into more stuff than his 2 sisters combined. I thought they were just stereotypes. Here's hoping Olly doesn't break his neck or make his mother insane trying to teach a boy who is too little to understand why exactly he can't sit on top of the table. Any tips from the moms of boys out there? I've already taught him how to get down safely from most places but he keeps finding new ones. It's a losing battle I'm afraid- should I wave the white flag now or wait until he makes it on top of the fridge like his papa back in the day?

Oh boy! Literally! I think after a while you just get used to it. Now people come over and wonder if I'm going to save the boys from jumping/falling off things. They've learned the hard way how to properly climb up and off things. Just wait until the jumping starts! My heart always skips a beat when Noah and now Keegan jump from the ottoman to the couch...Good luck!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious, and cute!
ReplyDeleteBut look how sweetly he smiles for the camera! Little cutie.
ReplyDeleteI have to say the legs between the slats is my favorte! I found Finn like that once, but he was SCREAMING, and it was REALLY hard to get the chubby legs free again!
ReplyDeleteWell he'll keep you hoppin. Good Luck! Love Mom
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem. I think it just comes with boys.
ReplyDeleteLia got on top of the fridge. You need one of those little tykes climbing cubes! I have no idea either.
ReplyDeleteSeara was my climber - one time when she was Olly's same age she climbed on top of my kitchen table and dumped a full pitcher of cranberry juice completely out ... all while I sat there watching, nursing Elijah. UGH! Good luck. Seara outgrew it, but not until after she climbed to the very top shelf of our pantry (which in our case, was actually higher than my fridge).
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you find the solution because I have the same problem. We put Tanner in time out when he gets on the counter or table where it's really NOT safe.
ReplyDeleteAhh, I'm just laughing! Carter was a little monkey climber like that. . . and he still is, so it doesn't stop!
ReplyDeleteYou outdid yourself with the cuteness for Charlotte's birthday! Can't wait to see the details. :) Hopefully there's more than just screaming little girls having meltdowns. Sorry. ;)
@ Steph- if I had a nickle for every time Charlotte had a meltdown- I'd be a rich women. I think all the kiddos were just done by then- no apologies needed. She really did great the rest of the time! My friend Cortney got some great pictures of fairy Brielle!
