1 year photo shoot Oliver and Abigail

If you haven't noticed I have a major obsession with fantastic pictures of my kids. Luckily have I some amazing photographer friends. My friend- the lovely and talented Cortney Talbott took these 1 year pictures of the twins- not one, but two, different Saturdays. Abigail would not smile at all for the first session at Scottsdale Civic Center. She had been up the night before, a tooth broke through the next day, and she's a mama's girl (hence why I appear in some of the pics), and babies have a sixth sense when you want them to smile, they don't. So we did a re-do of Abby a few weeks later in an orange grove. She did quite a bit better and by the second session she had become a walker! We love them so much! Firstly, I LOVE them all! I agree about the pictures. After getting some pro ones done (thanks to Cortney!), it's hard to go back. I take a million pictures, and I can't fathom printing and hanging any of the ones I take when I have much better quality ones!

I love the pictures! I don't know why but pictures of kids crying is awesome. Not in a mean way, just in a so pathetic way?? So in case you care, I love #13 for that. I also love #s 1, 6, 10, 14, and 16--all for different reasons! You guys make some cute kids! And yay for Abby walking!

I think my favorite one is #2. I'm not even sure why, but it's the one I keep going back to. You look like a very, very cute 12-year-old in the last picture. If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were the sister, not the mother!
