Here are some pictures of my little sister Marti getting home from her mission in Spain at the end of July. I missed her so much. 18 months is the longest we've ever been apart since she's been alive. She's my best friend and I'm so proud of her for going and doing a great job on her mission. But, I am also very glad to have her back. I felt a little lost with her gone. She even transferred to NAU distance learning down in the Valley. I think God knew what he was doing to send me twins the same year my single and extremely helpful sister would be here too. Love you Marti!
I helped my mom make "I Heart Marti" t-shirts for all the nieces and nephews. We're really getting this missionary thing down after 5 times doing it. Too bad she's the last of the Diehl kids to go. We caused quite a scene!
Meeting Abby. There were 2 nieces and 3 nephews born while she was gone!
Meeting Trac.
My niece Lia and nephew Charlie. I just thought it was a cute shot. Look at how much they love their mama. They have the BEST blond curls.
The Whole Diehl clan. Man we're a big group these days!
Your airport shots turned out way better than mine! I'm glad I'm not the last one to post about it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! I'm sure Marti was so excited to have so many people there to greet her. Please tell her I say hi!
ReplyDeleteCan you email me that pic? Funny how I don't remember them hanging on my legs or you taking a picture of it!
ReplyDeleteHow fun that everyone was there to greet your sister. Hope you guys have a lot of fun catching up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. These are the special times that parents cherish. All of our children and grandchildren together. It is "A Wonderful Life." Love Mom
