Charlotte's Swim Party

We had my mom's group over on Friday for some outdoor water fun for Charlotte's 2nd birthday. Not really an official party- just some friends over to make the day more fun.

The popsicles were a big hit and way easier than cake!

I can't believe she's a big 2 year old already!

This lovely lady deserves to be an honorary auntie with all the help she's been- throwing baby showers, taking newborn shots, bringing multiple meals.... Couldn't ask for a better friend than Cortney. Oliver thinks she's pretty great too.

The weather was wonderful, not sweltering- which means the kids were freezing by the end! Typical.

Charlotte loves playing in the water so I thought it would be the perfect thing to do with her friends. Despite a few sharing issues it turned out really well (how old before kids get the whole sharing concept?). Charlotte definitely wins the award for the craziest kid in the water. I think she scared one of the moms half to death the first time she dove under the water. Charlotte just keeps getting spunkier with age- what a fun kid!

We had so much fun Erin. I just couldn't stop laughing at Charlotte in that pool. She looked like a fish out of water! You are too sweet, I just love your little ones to death. You know where to go if you need a sitter! Oliver is the snuggliest(is that a word?) little thing.

That's a lot closer to a birthday party than anything I've ever done! Maybe for Seara's 6th birthday we'll invite friends over? And you did it with baby twins! Yikes! You're awesome!!
