Diehl Family Pictures- Part 3

The last day of the Diehl Family reunion we had a photographer come to get a big group picture since we're not all together very often.  It's not an easy task to take a picture with 13 adults and 15 (mostly) little kids!  These are the best of the bunch- it's impossible to get a perfect shot but under the circumstances, attempting pictures is slightly insane.  I had visions of doing pictures of all the siblings together, the grand kids with grandma and grandad etc but it didn't happen. Oh well.

Kids on the ground- the adults look great- the kids less so.
Mom and Dad

Below are pictures 5 out of 6 siblings and their families in order from oldest to youngest- the youngest sibling  Marti is in the group pictures above dead center between mom and dad
My oldest sister Alyn and her family- it's amazing how good a picture can look with older kids! They live in South Carolina and we hadn't seen them in two years- so this is the first trip we were able to meet their "baby" Lily
My older sister Kori and family

My oldest brother Jesse and family

My older brother Cody and family- traveled from San Diego

Us- let's just say it won't be going on the Christmas card.

At least we like our couples shot!

The rest of the pictures are my amateur behind the scenes shots of what was happening between  pictures.
Abby and Maya

Lily and Alyn- I got a smile!

Coulson and Emilee- so cute!

Smoosh! Emilee, Coulson, Cody
Maya, Eliza, Charlotte- these 3 were inseparable the whole reunion
Grandad and Trac

  5. We've weathered our fair share of huge family pictures so I can completely empathize. But I think that first one looks pretty darn good. Your "reunion" looks so fun. Crazy fun, like we do it in big Mormon families. Since you ran your first 3 miles maybe you should branch out and sign up for a race. There's a 5K and 10K based out of Hohokam Park in November. Think about it.

  6. I loved thos! They were great! It is a huge feat to get everyone together and you sure were smart to get pics! Everyone is so grown up. I still remember them as kids!
