2008 in Review

Yes, I know it's March of 2009. I started making this movie back in December. Trying to be cool like Alyn and Janae. I just couldn't quite pull it off. Our trial version of the video software expired before I was done so I finally got around to finishing it now.

Let's all pretend it's around Christmas of 2008 and the beginning music is magical instead of as stale as an old holiday cookie you might find under your couch right about now. (I really liked it when I started but now I'm too sick of editing to change it) We'll call it the ghost of Christmas past. After all the time it took to make this baby I'm putting it on here by golly. It's long (3 min 39 sec) but it is a whole year in review (so too bad).

Sorry some of the text is hard to read. It looks better on a big screen and I'm still trying to figure this all out. Turn up your sound (the first song is quiet) and enjoy! (I hope)

  1. Nice blog, Erin. I linked to it through Cortney's. I love the video. What program do you use to make those?

  2. Great job on the movie girl! I love how you showed the pregnancy pictures. At 8months you seemed to be barely showing, but then you finally look pregnant at 9 months. You are so tiny. Are you teaching right now?

  3. That was so great! I liked the music, but I can definitely relate to how SICK of those songs you get when you are editing!! I think the best part of the movie was that I feel like I've already lived through half of it! I can't believe how Charlotte has grown. She is so precious!

ps. I got your comment on the old post! That was fun. Plus, you bumped up my record. In the first six months of blogging, I only got two comments. So now it's three. Thanks! :)

pps. One of my favorite posts that I think got overlooked was this one:

I think you were already reading my blog when I posted it, but it still makes me laugh! (I know, I'm such a geek. I totally laugh at myself. :)

She'll be even more adventurous in the next year!

  6. For some reason it took a few days for me to see the video, it was probably our slow internet connection. I love it Erin, good job!

  8. You like white bread? That's just disturbing and wrong. are we talking like fluffy wonder-bread, tastes like a whole lot of nothing white bread?

Now homemade white bread, that's OK.
