Heard at Our House

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cute things kids say. It's my favorite part of other people's blogs. I've been waiting and waiting for Charlotte to have some quote worthy things to say! So without further ado...

We just finished a dry-pants check when we were potty training the first few days (don't worry more on that later). I gave her a jelly bean as a treat. She walks over to her coloring page of Jesus and Joseph Smith from church and puts the jelly bean up to Jesus' face, "Here you go Jesus."

Yes! She must be listening to those nursery and family home evening lessons once in a while! The sharing is finally sinking in a little!

Auntie Marti wanted to watch Sleeping Beauty so we borrowed it from our good friends the Chases. Charlotte had a marvelous time watching it over and over and yelling things like, "Bad witch!" "Kill dragon!" She frequently talks about it and her beautiful "Sleeping Booty" panties. I thought it was quite an appropriate name for them.

Sleeping Booty--too funny. That must be one strong turtle! Pretty cool! And very cute Thanksgiving hats. I'm impressed. That made me laugh when you said Matt must have thought you were crazy--Dennon probably thinks a lot of my "crafty" ideas are crazy too.

The things kids say are hilarious. I don't write down enough of it. I can't wait to hear more about this potty training. I need to do that sometime soon. Or not. Whatever.
