Tayriens at Great Grandpa's cabin

The whole Tayrien group!
We had our reunion in July, at the cabin Great Grandpa "Mel" Allen built in Strawberry, AZ.
My grandma Tayrien, all 4 of her kids, 14 (out of 25) grand kids, 31 (out of soon-to-be 51) great grand kids!  +spouses Photo by Emilee
TWINS!  I think this might be the first picture with all 4 sets!  I guess you can definitely say twins run in the family now!  My cousins, boy/girl set Seth and Hayley, my cousin's identical twin boys Caleb and Brigham, our boy/girl twins Oliver and Abigail, and my cousin's identical twin girls Grace and Holland. Who wants the next set bwahahah!?

My mom Jere, my grandma Venla, and my uncle Grant.

4 generations!

Love this picture on the porch swing!  Charlotte, Savannah, Marti, Madi and Joseph
Matt and Miles

It took awhile, our family is pretty baby crazy, but I finally got a turn to meet my new nephew Joseph!  I think he weighs as much as Miles, he is so cute and one of the most easy-going babies I've ever met!
Dad and my mom's Uncle Mel- he reminds me so much of Great Grandpa Allen- the cabin belongs to him now.  He worked at the old Motorola building for 30+ years where Matt worked when it turned into General Dynamics.  Photo credit Alyn Hancock
My oldest niece Madi has caught up to me- the shortest of the aunties!  Let's see how many other aunts she can pass up!  Photo by Alyn Hancock

I loved walking around the inside of the cabin.  I adore how quirky old houses are that you built yourself!  Everything seemed so small compared to how I remember them as a child!

Thanks for letting me steal this photo Seth!
The play room at Great Grandpa Allen's cabin.  Many memories were made here.  I especially love to be upstairs when it's raining, there is nothing like rain on a metal roof.  I wanted to steal all the 1950s doll prams, play kitchen, heavy duty Tonka trucks for photo props- they just don't make them like that anymore.  Matt was worried about them breaking them- I think after surviving 4 generations of kids they could survive our kids for an hour.

It was great times!  Next time let's get a cousin picture- let's see if we can beat 14 out of 25 cousins there!
