Proud of this girl trying a new school and getting accepted the Mesa Academy, she's excited to switch classes and learn Spanish, Chinese, art, and orchestra as her specials!

We tried to get a cute picture with the puppy lined up too but she wasn't having it!

It was too bright, he kept closing his eyes! They didn't have the half day option anymore so he's my first kid to do full day kindergarten. He's also my youngest to start school by a month, but he also gave up naps the soonest and does most things sooner because he copies the older kids. I hope Mrs. Rudolph is great for him!

I find it ironic my kids are all in school and now I have a puppy to train! Ha!

Her bus stop is at a church on Harris just a few minutes drive from our house, there are about 10-15 kids that ride the bus from this stop. First time not following her to school. We went last week and saw all her classes.

Can't believe all my kids are in school full time! For the first time since becoming a mother, I feel like my life is more balanced. I have time to do some things for me (temple, shopping, lunch with a friend), keep up on the house a little better (until they get home anyway!), and I can still volunteer at the school and see them all. I do feel like I get my kids when they're all tired and worn out but I feel so lucky that I can stay home. After all the years of babies and toddlers, it's nice to get a little more personal time and balance.
