Halloween 2021

Halloween definitely lasts all month these days!

First up was MacArthur pumpkin contest!  Miles and his friends Nora and Abby came up with the idea to do a pumpkin of their library Mrs. Despain who is a chilren's book author.  It was a hit!  This might be our last year of the pumpkin contest if Miles goes to Mesa Academy next year.

This is definitely our last year of the MacArthur costume parade since it ends in 3rd grade!  I got to run his class party again- so fun after not getting to volunteer last year.   I get to go in every Wednesday and help kids with reading, and other special projects.  I love teaching so much!

Love when I get to watch the parade with friends!  Love having the Grover's back in Mesa and Macarthur!

Spencer, Stella and Rocket Miles- such fun bus stop friends!

Mesa Academy actually had a dress-up day! Charlotte was a Ravenclaw and Abby was a witch with her friends.  Olly wouldn't dress up.

No family theme this year but glad they're all dressing up!

I have worn this in high school, college, and as an adult!  The last Halloween costume my mom sewed for me!  Tinkerbell Charlotte!

So pleased with his blow-up costume but hard to walk! It was more like a waddle!  I got in on clearance last year and he immediately broke the zipper- he bugged me for a year to fix it and with Matt's help we managed it fix it in October!

Renaissance lady Abigail!  I wore this dress in high school and college also.  It was a bridesmaid dress for my mom in the 1970s!  I had to hem in for Abby.

Robot Olly loved his helmet and comfty pants!

Lady Liberty Erin and Matt's favorite regular Burger King!  Someone thought it was a theme like a King vs Liberty.

We love friends and cousins!  Julia, Kendra, Ginny Weasley and Renaissance Abby

Patriotic Ladies!  It's been so fun to work with Amanda Chase in Relief Society activities this year!  She's so talented and fun!

Charlotte and Olly carved this pumpkin

Gammons left after sacrament so we carved pumpkins and went trick or treating after.  I love an excuse to see all the neighbors- I wish we did it more often!

It was a great Halloween with lots of cousins and fun things!
