A big birthday for Matt and Marti this year!
For his birthday he was able to take the day off (and daylight saving ended since he's working for Open Reel based in NYC which means he can get up at 6:30 instead of 5:30 like he did all summer)! He wanted to sleep in so we didn't do breakfast with the kids we went to Butters in Scottsdale in stead. While I volunteered at the temple open house he got a 90 minute massage which he loved. He requested 7-layer bean dip and costco pumpkin pie for that night.

| Charlotte had her first Jr High dance so we did pie and presents when she got home! She loved the dance, dressing up 80s and even had 3 boys ask her to dance. She helped set up and get ready with her friend Anna! |

On Sunday we did roast and Yorkshire pudding for Marti's birthday dinner and 4-layer delight! Then Monday my parents were down for a bit so Matt covered all the afternoon driving so I could celebrate Marti with all the free stuff.
We are so lucky to have Matt and Marti! They do so much for me and each of the kids! It was a fun birthday weekend!
