Nevada Way & us on Jensen hosted the last cookie walk of the spring before it gets too hot. We actually had a nice, almost rainy evening, but it didn't actually rain. It was so nice out! I love the cookie walk so much, but hosting it is my favorite!
We did chocolate chip, peanut butter and Texas sheet cake. Matt wasn't feeling well enough to make salsa but he came out and sat and visited. We met the new neighbor from Nevada Way. I love how all the kids and teens hang out and ride bikes back & forth.
I was in charge of teacher appreciation this year for Mesa Academy. Miles helped me decorate the room a bit on Monday.
Here's what we did-
Monday- yogurt, fruit & granola parfaits & donuts "We donut" what we'd do without you!
Tuesday- Cookies from Costco- Thanks for helping our kids be smart cookies.
Wednesday- Cafe Rio Taco Salad & nachos
Thursdays- Favorite snacks guessing game
Friday- Italian Soda Bar- We're Soda delighted you're our teachers!
It was a very busy week and I was at the school a ton setting up and taking down but I was happy to celebrate the teachers that work so hard. We also had a note table on the stage during lunch for kids to come write a note.
