Start of Summer 2025!

I love my early Friday mornings at the Mesa temple!

R to L Micah, Lindsey, Miles, Carson, William- all friends from our 3 Fountains ward on their first day of swim team!  We make the kids do swim team every other summer for at least 3 summers.  This is Miles' third time doing it.  So far he's not a fan...

Memorial Day I drove up & back to Prescott. Olly and I hiked around Watson lake & put our feet in- no swimming allowed.  Next time I'll bring our paddleboards.  We drove around a few of the streets with the cute Victorian houses that I love.  Olly was a good travel buddy- we listened to a few books.

The reason we went up to Prescott was to drop off Charlotte and Adri for their FSY session!  They are such cute friends!  Charlotte didn't like the food but she liked the smaller session and the kids in her group.  She's even thinking of going an extra year next year!

Trac was also headed up to the same FSY session as Charlotte so we met up with their group for lunch at Chick-fil-A!  It just so happened to be Jesse's #45 and Trac's #15 birthday!  So fun to see them for a bit on their birthdays!

Last Day of School Pictures

Miles left before I took the pictures so we'll see if I get a reenactment from him and a group shot later... I'm always sad when I miss a tradition!

So proud of how hard Olly worked his freshman year!  He liked his basketball class with his friends and did great in all his classes- including some hard honors classes.

Charlotte loved being a sophmore and driving a few times to school and parking in the visitor football lot.  She's hoping to get a parking spot next year and take lots of AP classes and Academic Decathalon (ACDEC).  She did amazing in all her classes and finished AP Spanish! She also went to her first dance and did lot of service with National Honors Society and had lots of fun with friends.

Abby did amazingly her freshman year!  She worked so hard in all her classes (she and Olly had very similar schedules).  She got to go to Seattle with her Symphony orchestra and had lots of nice friends, old & new.

Miles got sunburned the first time he went swimming so Olly & Abby were nice to put aloe vera on him.  It hurt to wear a shirt so he stayed home from church.

Charlotte did her book 4 Suzuki violin recital so well!  We love her teacher Heidi.  Olly & Miles played their piano recital songs to give her an intermission. She had some fun and complicated Bach and Vivaldi pieces- it is so fun to hear how far shes' come!  Her friend Rosi Morin came & her dad, and Marti and Spencer.   She picked my favorite Costco cookies for the treat!
