The end of the school year is always extra busy with music recitals and concerts- here are the highlights! So proud of our kids!
May 17 was our double concert day violin and cello!
Abby Cello Recital!
Abby played a beautiful moody cello piece called Chanson Triste by P Tchaikovsky
She was one of the most advanced students in her recital. So proud of her
Charlotte's Violin Recital
Charlotte played a violin duet with Ms. Heidi called Double Concerto by Bach
Mountain View Orchestra Surround Sound
The girls also had their big combined orchestras surround sound dinner and concert. The theme was flight this year and included songs from Top Gun (Ms. Cross came in on a motorcycle and flight suit), ET (Ms. Cross on a bike/red hoodie, director in Cop suit), Up (Mr. Patel and Carl) and my favorite "How to Train Your Dragon". It's always so fun. Abby was behind us and Charlotte was on the side behind her music stand but we got pictures after. Matt was feeling too sick to come by the rest of us and Auntie Marti made it!![]() |
| One of my favorite parts of orchestra are the good friends my girls have! Stella & Alyssa! |

| One reason I knew Mesa Academy was the right school for my kids is that I always see kids reading at lunch! I love that Abby & Stella both brought a book to read to the orchestra concert! |
