Christmas Morning

The big event- the present unwrapping.  I was so excited for the twins to get excited for their Christmas presents this year and they didn't disappoint.  Last year little Abby slept through Christmas morning.
We had a hard time moving past the candy in the stocking- they kept bringing more and more up to us to open for them.

"Oliver, Oliver, never before has a boy wanted more."  (You know the Oliver Twist musical?  Matt sings this to him- I'm not sure I remember it that well but I'm sure some of his more literary or musical friends will tease him at some point about asking for more.)

Olly totally got the hang of running back and forth to the tree with Charlotte to grab presents.

The play kitchen was their big gift from Santa.  Charlotte told everyone that's what she wanted for Christmas.  Oliver and Abigail probably play with it more though.  I like that it's not too girly and it's wooden and fairly compact.

Getting a drink.  Add a pad of paper and pencil for your waiter/waitress and you've got yourself a five star restaurant that we play all day long.  Charlotte also loves the chef hat and apron.
I got Abby and Olly soft boy/girl dolls.  Olly will occasionally give his a bottle, but for some reason Abby has adopted both of them and she thinks she needs to carry them at the same time.  She also likes to change their "diapers" which she says over and over until you help her.  It's the closest thing she has to an attachment object.

Twins!  This almost looks like a few picture I have of me and my twins!

Babies taking care of their babies.  Olly had to see if that OJ bottle was any good.
Charlotte's loot.  More on the dress later.
Some of Olly and Abby's loot.  Olly did get a pounding toy and tool belt too.

Christmas is so much fun with little kids!
