Here's the pictures of Oliver and Abigail's Noah's Ark party that I've been planning since I knew I was having twins. The whole two by two when they turned 2 was just too perfect! Who could resist the animal theme and the rainbow colors!
Finger painting rainbows on a plate- then a dip in the pool or slip n' slide to clean off- again I didn't get enough pictures. Thank you to Cortney for taking the ones I do have!
Noah's ark little people set- notice the kangaroo is not to scale
Rainbow fruit platter
Do you like the jet ski ark?
Polar bear polar bear what do you hear? My animal sounds need some work... you have to read a book at a party- at least if you used to be a teacher you do.
Please excuse the bum picture and look at the ceiling- somehow this is the only shot I got of my favorite decoration. An umbrella hung upside down with strings of raindrops and rainbow streamers coming off of it. Thanks Marti- it was perfect!
Pin the tail on the elephant- no turns and no winners- perfect for the 2-4 yr old crowd
Present time was total chaos- too many presents with 2 kiddos I couldn't keep track of who was opening what. They got some very nice things- thanks friends!
My oldest monkey- big sister extraordinaire 2 years running now!
Poor Abby is off to the side- I don't think she got to blow out her cupcake- luckily she didn't seem to mind!
She did get to eat it!
New cars! Easton showing Olly the ropes on how to open packages.
After the party! This cake was so much fun and so terrifying to make! I followed the directions here. It was a must for a Noah's ark party though!
Stay tuned for part 2 the family party.
What a clever idea! I *love* that cake. It must have been a beast to make, but it is so perfect!
