Grandad's fish pond at their house was officially up and running this summer. He uses it to store irrigation water for the lawn and orchard when the ditch is off for repairs. We told Olly if he stopped sucking his thumb we would take him fishing. He did pretty well for awhile and earned the fishing trip. Now he's regressed again. He's never been a bad thumb sucker but if he has his blanket he thinks his thumb needs to be in his mouth. Grandad is working on the water slide into the pond next if all goes well.
Olly was first. It took about two casts and he got a small fish!
Abby's face is so cute and excited!
Then she got a little worried and didn't want to kiss it!
Olly almost kissed it. I don't know why my dad always tries to get them to do that!
My kids are going to think the fish bite every time you cast! We were serious done fishing- and each kid caught a fish after 15 minutes.
