Charlotte gets a BOB!

Charlotte had no hair for a very long time...

Here she is at age 2 with her even balder sister Abby.

Here she is at age 3... still not much.  Her hair grew so slowly!

So when she started asking for a bob haircut Matt was not a fan.  Almost all of her friends have gotten a bob and she really really wanted one.  She would get dramatic and say things like, "The only thing I want for my birthday is a bob."  This started back in April or May.  Finally we decided it was just hair and it would eventually grow back, I'm a hair chopper myself.  For her back to school hair cut she chopped it.

She would tuck it behind her shoulder and look in the mirror trying to picture her bob ahead of time.

She loves it!  I think it looks really good on her and Matt even agrees but he thinks it aged her up to about 10.  She kept saying things like,  "It's the first time I've been to church with a bob", or "It's the first time I've seen my friends with my bob."  A new haircut can really make you feel like a new person I guess!  She liked all the attention.  I did see her writing that she wants hair like Rapunzel again though on a school paper, so we'll see if she grows it out or keeps it short!
