Easter Weekend 2024

Charlotte left for her orchestra trip to Disneyland Thursday morning until early Sunday morning so we missed her this weekend.  That seems to be happening more all the time.
We did a Passover dinner on Thursday evening complete with chocolate chip muffins!  We watched Prince of Egypt after.  Maybe one year we'll watch the old Ten Commandments movie like I watched every year growin up.

On Friday morning sweet Sister Gunnell let the boys pick lemons at her house.

They squeezed all the lemons while I was at the temple.  They did pretty well earning money for their science camp (Miles) and DC (Olly field trips) about $54.  One sweet man gave them $5 but didn't take anything becuase he was observing Ramadan.  We had lots of neighbors come and support them!

We made lemon cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!

Even though they wrestle a lot I love the relationship these two boys have.   I hope they'll always be best buddies.

Miles was my only buddy to dye eggs.  We loves these little gnomes and critters set!

Abby loves painting her nails every week!  Easter m&m colors for the win!
 I love pastels!
We let Charlotte sleep for a few hours in her bed after getting off the over-nigh bus from Disney at 5am but she was still pretty tired/ not happy to be up for an egg hunt and buttermilk pancakes and syrup.  We did the egg hunt inside since it was raining on Easter!

Miles!  Sang Gethsemane with the primary for the last time on Easter!

Charlotte got a ride to church from dad so she could sleep a little more.

We got there early for Olly to do the sacrament and he talked on the For Strength of Youth on Jesus Christ and Repentance.  He did a great job speaking with the hilarious Ryan couple!

All of the girls got new Easter dresses on clearance from Ivy City co.

Abby getting too beautiful and grown up!

We missed getting to see more family but Marti did stop by for a few minutes with some treats for the kids.  Happy Easter!  We are so grateful for our Savior and all he did for us!  We love remembering what he did each day of Holy week.
