Middle of March 2024

Right on her 15.5 birthday 3/11 Matt took Charlotte to get her driver's permit! She aced it!!

She's so excited!

So far I've taken her in parking lots and neighborhood streets for a few hours of practice. She had a 6 hour class at driving school and she'll start doing driving lessons with the Institute For Drivers Safety school soon. It's been a weird experience to have her drive me since I've been driving her for 15.5 years.

Miles made lots of cushion creations during spring break and pretty much lives in this cow onesie. "It's all-day, every-day wear."-Miles

Charlotte did lifeguard training 7:30-noon Monday- Friday of spring break so not much sleeping in and we didn't go to Manti or Souther AZ like I wanted. We did go to Panera bread for lunch after her training to celebrate her half birthday.

Olly, Abby Miles and I rode bikes to the cemetary to visit Uncle George Tayrien that died in March as a baby just like my mom's family did all growing up. We always visit our other relatives while we're there. We tried to stop for ice cream on the way home (Abby's request of course) but it wasn't open yet. Miles got tired biking on the way home. This was one of the only outing Olly did her had a fever and each infection most of the week so it's probably better we didn't go out of town. We did go to AZ Mills to get some new clothes, Olly especially is growing so fast right now. He's 5'5" and feels so tall next to me!

9/30/12 While pushing the stroller on a walk with her eyes closed, "I walking asleep." Me, "You're sleep walking?" A while later, "I woke up. I'm so happy now I'm rested!" A valiant attempt to skip nap time.

4/21/2019 On a ward camp out where it was really cold the very first thing in the morning Miles grumbles, "I slept horrible!" Aftter he climbs in the parent's sleeping bag, "It smells like bad breath in here and... butt cracks!" We were dying!
2/27/2017 Not wanting to go to sunbeams, "I not free (three) I a baby!" Not wanting to sit in a car seat, "I not free I five!" Wanting to go to the auntie sleepover with the big kids, "I not free I five or seven." and "I sad at you" with big crocodile tears.
