Barbara Mae Diehl

In July my Grandma Diehl passed away. I was at the hospital with her when she died along with my parents, my uncle Barry and his daughter Melanie. She was able to talk to her other son Ed on the phone. It was very hard to be there for hours watching someone die. I knew she was going to a better place but it was still so hard to watch. A few times she woke up enough to tell us she loved us and bear her testimony. Most of our Diehl cousins were able to be there for the funeral. I always think it's a shame that funerals have to happen after someone dies. Grandma would have loved to see so many of us together- it hasn't happened in a long time. She was such a sweet, kind, sharing person. She accepted the gospel so easily and loved to bear her testimony. We love you grandma!

  1. That's great that you all took pictures together: for the family history. Grandma would've appreciated the pictures. I wish I would've been there! Miss you, Grandma.
