Here are some pictures from our Christmas this last year and of our living room. We finally bought a couch after 7 months of searching. Matt bought the candles for me for one of my Christmas presents. I saw something similar in a pottery barn catalogue and liked it so we did the cheaper Wal-Mart version. We were also looking for a rug but decided to use a piece of carpet left over from the rest of our house and have the edges bound. Now we just need a something for above the mantle...Any suggestions?
So it's hard to figure out new Christmas traditions when you get married. Matt's family always does a big Christmas Eve celebration and it is also his Fife Grandparents anniversary. So we usually go to that and go caroling, eat pizza and see Matt's mom's side of the family. Then on Christmas morning we open presents together and then stop by and see his parents in the morning and open presents with them and then drive to Cornville to see my family. A little crazy but it seems wrong not to see family on Christmas when they don't live that far. We'll see what happens when we have kids.Here is a cute picture of our niece Maya at my brother Jesse and his wife Mindy's house in Camp Verde on Christmas day. She was born in October.
