First time Dying Easter Eggs

Last Easter post-

Every year I intend to dye eggs with my kids. I've even bought 2 dye kits because I forgot I still had one in the Easter egg box. Then I get too busy the week before Easter and we head up to Cornville and it still hasn't happened. This year I was so determined that we did it after Easter! It took a little self-control to let them do it and not get upset with spills but I managed pretty well.

The brown eggs make more vibrant colors but the yellow didn't really work with the brown eggs. I love hard boiled eggs, how about you? I have some family members that can't stand them. I'll eat them as snacks with salt and pepper, deviled, in an egg sandwich. We will see if I manage to dye them before Easter next year.

Did you have to throw in the egg eating description? Ew. I can't believe how white Abby's hair looks!

Mmmmm! Hard boiled eggs are da best!
I love that both Abby and Olly are looking at their hands. Sorry mom. We miiiight have gotten some dye on ourselves.
