We continued the tradition we started last year of going to Mother Nature's Farm Pumpkin Patch in Gilbert, AZ. Even though it is as citified as I remember it's a fun little tradition and about as much as I could handle in one morning anyway. Charlotte was so excited when I told her we were going to a farm the next day after breakfast. She requested to have an after dinner bowl of cereal for a snack. I gave it to her thinking she must be really hungry, until she finished the bowl and informed me she was ready to go. Eating cereal= breakfast over so we can leave now! Gotta love a 2 year old's logic. The first thing she said to me when I went to get her the next morning was, "Pig pigs! Oink oink! Tractor, pumpkins, horse, neigh!" So excited! I think I underestimate her memory and how much she understands now.
Meet Charlotte... the pig. At first I thought the person at the farm knew my kids' name somehow until I realized she was referring to this mama pig with 11 three-day-old piglets. They were so sweet! This was my favorite part of the trip. I felt a lot of empathy for this tired mama pig with all her babies crawling all over her!
It was fun to take some pictures in the same places as last year and see how much they've grown!
Giving her friend Easton a kiss.
Almost 3 feet tall. It was so hard to get this shot- they will NOT hold still!
On the hay ride. We met my friend Cortney and her little boy Easton there. My little sister Marti was so nice to come and help me. I need so much help to go anywhere these days!
I love both of their faces coming out of this little play house.
The twins were pretty much dolls. They hardly fussed at all- even when we got a couple of sprinkles. Check out that sweet little chubby face. They are really filling out these days!

Good buddies.
Charlotte actually got over her 3-feet of personal space bubble. It was nice while it lasted.
Every year is even more fun than the last because Charlotte is starting to get more excited about traditions. Days like this make me so glad to be a mom and get to experience all these fun childhood things over again! It was totally worth the effort it took to get out of the house.
Halloween pics coming soon!

It is worth the effort, once you are home and can lift your feet up for 5 seconds. We started going there last year too. We almost went on Saturday, but figured it would be around for a little while longer. I hope you had a fun time. I am glad someone came to help you. Sisters are great!
