Quarantined

It feels like we've been sick off and on since the middle of February. Luckily we all seem to be healthy now but for a while there we saw a ton of this-
and this-
and this-
Luckily even when she's sick she's usually like this- and she was a doll when I took her to the doctor.
We didn't want to share the endless drippy noses, fevers, or croup barking cough with everybody so we stayed home- even more than we usually do.  I started to get a little desperate for activities.  Especially the week that I was miserably sick with a fever for a whole week.  I finally got antibiotics- the first time in 7 years- my super immune system failed me.  Nothing makes you appreciate your health quite like being sick.  Here's how we kept busy while the weather has been so lovely-

Finger and water painting outside
Y!
For some reason putting the containers in the cardboard slot was better than painting- I was okay with that.

And climbing trees-

Screaming because he wanted to climb too.  I did help him up but I couldn't keep him from falling and take a  picture.  It won't be long before he's up there by himself.  He finally flung himself into our super tall bathtub by himself the other day.  Don't even get me started on how long he's been opening the car doors and climbing in.
I'll be sad to see the nice weather go but not the awful colds.

  2. I seriously forget how hard it is to have sick babies/toddlers! Kids are so much easier older - a cold or flu is practically nothing. Oh, man, I have my work cut our for me, don't I?!
